I had a sudden thought last night to include a note of encouragement in the girl's St. Nicholas stockings. I hope to remember to do this each year. This time it reads, "Be kind to one another."

I do that too! Mine are a little longer though. St. Nicholas usually lists a couple things the boys have done well and encourages them to keep working toward other goals. Then he says he will visit again soon!
